One of my epals sent me this motivational message. I liked it so I thought I would post it. Thanks Peter.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Tongue Can Be Your Worst Enemy!
Your words, your dreams, and your thoughts have power to create conditions in your life.
What you speak about, you can bring about.
If you keep saying you can't stand your job, you might lose your job.
If you keep saying you can't stand your body, your body can become sick.
If you keep saying you can't stand your car, your car could be stolen or just stop operating.
If you keep saying you're broke, guess what? You'll always be broke.
If you keep saying you can't trust a man or trust a woman, you will always find someone in your life to hurt and betray you.
If you keep saying you can't find a job, you will remain unemployed.
If you keep saying you can't find someone to love you or believe in you, your very thought will attract more experiences to confirm your beliefs.
If you keep talking about a divorce or break up in a relationship, then you might end up with it.
Turn your thoughts and conversations around to be more positive and power packed with faith, hope, love and action.
Don't be afraid to believe that you can have what you want and deserve.
Watch your Thoughts, they become words.
Watch your Words, they become actions.
Watch your Actions, they become habits.
Watch your Habits, they become character.
Watch your Character, for it becomes your Destiny.
The minute you settle for less than you deserve, you get even less than you settle for.
Thought I would share this with you.
In the search for Me, I discovered Truth.
In the search for Truth, I discovered Love.
In the search for Love, I discovered GOD.
And in God, I have found Everything.
Be Blessed
Watch how your circumstances and situations begin to change when you change the way you speak.
Pass this on to as many people; as you can, so they can change their lives, too.
'Life is like melted butter. . .once things cool down, it can be reshaped!'
I just received an interesting email. I don't know if it is true or not, but it seemed like very useful information. I also don't think it could hurt to share. Normally, I am not a fan of internet forwarding information without some kind of confirmation, but I thought this was very useful. After rereading the accompanying story, I decided to delete parts, I hope the main message remains, be careful and recognize signs that might not be readily noticeable, especially with the elderly.
STROKE IDENTIFICATION:
Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke .
STRoke
Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:
S * Ask the individual to SMILE.
T * Ask the person to TALK and SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently)
(i.e. It is sunny out today)
R * Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.
If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call 911 immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.
I also did a quick internet search and found some symtoms for recognizing a stroke:
* Sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body
* Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding
* Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes
* Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination
* Sudden, severe headache with no known cause
