Other than the last line, that was a great video. I find it amusing and worrisome that so many people think that the new technologies are helping us connect more, when all I see is a bigger disconnect. I was over a friends house last night and there were two people there that spent the whole time texting. I'm thinking "You have real, breathing, flesh & blood people here in the room and you choose to connect through electronics. Sad.
Yes. I agree with you that people are becoming more disconnected with technology. There is a greater dependancy on it.
A few years ago, I was one of those people. I was sending my neighbor who lived two doors away (in the same building) emails that took at least an hour to compose, and he would do the same. Have I outgrown that? Yes, ...little bit.
Oh, we've all fallen for it. I even had conversations over the cell phone with my brothers when we were in the same car. Just for the novelty of it when they first became affordable, but still - in the same car!

I have more than once texted my dad and brother-in-law while in the same room as both of them.
