The Boondocks?!?! Today was my recovery day. I did not do much of anything. After posting my previous blog, I watched a couple of episodes of my DVD boxset of the "Boondocks". I'm not sure what to think. To be honest, I did laugh a couple of times, but I was more uncomfortable watching it. I also thought it was a bit stupid to have a clearly recognizable woman's voice for the young boy(s). I was also offended by the use of the "n" word and the violence from the two boys. In the first episode, one of the boys shoots a drunken soldier (with a real gun), causing the drunk to fall out of a second story window. The rich father of the drunken soldier just says, "oh, the boy (the drunken soldier) is a screw-up.
