I can understand her being nervous, but the response she gave to the Today show people wasn't much better. She had obviously practiced that response quite a bit, but it still didn't address the underlying fact that the education system overall doesn't catch dumb people. Honestly, "Me and all my friends CAN find the United States on a map..." Well conGRATulations, honey!
Yes, I thought the Today Show performance was just that.
